Support and Policies
Policies
Our terms, privacy, refund, and security policies, all in one place.
Terms and Conditions
These terms govern your use of IMPRSV, operated by IMPRSV Technologies Limited.
Agreement
By creating an account or using IMPRSV you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. IMPRSV is operated by IMPRSV Technologies Limited. If you do not agree, please don't use the service.
The service
IMPRSV helps you prepare for interviews — choosing question decks, recording practice answers on your own device, reviewing them, and self-rating against a rubric. Features may change as we improve the product.
Accounts
You must provide accurate details and keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to enter a contract in your country (and at least 16, or have appropriate consent).
Access, licences, and payment
Paid access is either a monthly plan, billed each month until you cancel, or a one-time purchase giving access for a fixed period (currently three or six months). The price shown at checkout applies. Payments are handled by Stripe; we don't store your card details. You can cancel a monthly plan at any time in Settings → Licenses (or by emailing support@imprsv.co.uk); you won't be charged again, and your access continues to the end of the period you have paid for. Gift purchases create an invite the recipient can redeem.
Refunds
Your refund rights, including the statutory 14-day cooling-off period for digital content and how it applies once you start using paid features, are set out in our Refund Policy.
Your content and recordings
You keep ownership of your practice recordings. They are stored only on your device and never uploaded to us, so you are responsible for keeping or deleting them. You grant us only the limited rights needed to provide the service (for example storing your self-evaluation ratings).
Acceptable use
Use IMPRSV lawfully. Don't misuse, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, and don't upload unlawful or infringing content.
No guarantee of outcomes
IMPRSV supports your preparation but does not guarantee interviews, job offers, salaries, or any employment outcome. Hiring decisions are made by employers, not by us.
Intellectual property
IMPRSV and its content (excluding your own recordings) are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Changes, termination, and law
We may update these terms and will post changes here. We may suspend or end access for breach. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Privacy Policy
How IMPRSV Technologies Limited ("IMPRSV", "we") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use IMPRSV.
Who we are
IMPRSV Technologies Limited ("IMPRSV") is the data controller for the personal data described here. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, email support@imprsv.co.uk.
Data we process
We process: account details (your email address, held via our identity provider); your profile and preferences (preferred name, industry, career level, age bracket); your self-evaluation ratings from practice sessions; gift invites you send (recipient email addresses); feedback you submit; and payment references (a payment-provider customer identifier and purchase/licence records). We do not store card details.
Your practice recordings stay on your device
Video and audio recordings you make while practising are stored only in your browser on your device and are never uploaded to our servers. We cannot see, access, or recover them. Clearing your browser storage, or using the controls in Settings → Storage, removes them.
- Recordings never leave your device
- Only your self-evaluation ratings (not the recordings) are sent to us
- You control and can delete local recordings at any time
Why we process it (lawful bases)
We process data to provide and operate the service (performance of our contract with you), to keep the service secure and reliable, to handle payments and licences, to provide support, and to comply with legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, including optional first-party analytics, you can withdraw it at any time.
Sub-processors
We use trusted providers to run IMPRSV: Amazon Web Services (hosting, database, authentication, and email, in the UK), Stripe (payment processing), Zoho (our support mailbox, for messages you send us), and Anthropic (used only to help administrators draft internal issue reports).
Retention
We keep account and related data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your server-side personal data is erased; we keep only the payment and licence records we need for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes, for as long as those purposes require.
Your rights
Subject to UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, export, and erase your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). You can export your data and delete your account from Settings → Advanced; account deletion erases your server-side personal data.
Changes and contact
We will post any changes to this policy here. Questions or requests: email support@imprsv.co.uk.
Refund Policy
When and how you can get a refund for IMPRSV, and how cancellation works.
Overview
IMPRSV is sold as a monthly plan or as a one-time purchase giving access for a fixed period. We want you to be happy with your purchase, and you also have statutory rights under UK consumer law. This policy explains both.
14-day cooling-off period
As a consumer buying digital content online, you normally have 14 days to cancel for a full refund. Because IMPRSV is digital content supplied immediately, once you start using paid features within that period your right to cancel may be lost.
How to request a refund
Email support@imprsv.co.uk with the subject line "Refund request" and include the email address used for the purchase. We aim to reply within one business day. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Stripe and typically appear within five to ten working days.
What happens to your access
When a refund is issued the associated licence is revoked and paid access ends. Practice recordings stored on your device are unaffected — they were never held by us and you can keep or delete them yourself.
Gifts
For gift purchases, the buyer may request a refund while the invite link is unredeemed. Once a recipient has redeemed a gift and created an account, refunds are handled case by case in line with your statutory rights.
Chargebacks
If you do not recognise a charge, please contact us first — we can usually resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Access may be suspended while a chargeback is under investigation.
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about refunds and cancellation are answered below.
Can I get a refund if I have not used the product yet?
Yes. If you purchased and have not started a practice session or accessed any paid content, you are entitled to a full refund within 14 days. Email us at support@imprsv.co.uk with your order details.
What counts as "using" the product?
Using the product means starting a recorded practice session, accessing the full question bank, or downloading any paid resources. Going through the free onboarding flow does not count.
How do I cancel a monthly plan?
Go to Settings → Licenses and choose Cancel plan. Future payments stop straight away, and your access continues to the end of the month you have already paid for. If you can't sign in, email support@imprsv.co.uk from your account email address and we'll cancel it for you.
I bought a plan by mistake — can I swap it?
Contact us within 14 days and we will do our best to swap your plan or issue a credit. This is handled case by case and depends on which plans have been used.
My monthly plan renewed and I forgot to cancel — what can I do?
Email us within seven days of the renewal date. If the renewed period has not been used, we will refund the latest charge as a goodwill gesture. This does not apply to one-time purchases.
How long do refunds take?
Once approved, refunds are processed via Stripe. Most refunds appear on your statement within five to ten working days, depending on your bank.
I have a question not covered here
Email support@imprsv.co.uk and we will respond within one business day. Nothing in this policy removes your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
Security Policy
IMPRSV takes the security of your account, recordings, and practice data seriously. This page describes our approach and how to report concerns.
Reporting a vulnerability
If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it privately to security@imprsv.co.uk. We review every report and aim to acknowledge receipt within 48 hours.
- Do not disclose the issue publicly until we have confirmed a fix.
- Include a clear description, steps to reproduce, and any supporting artefacts.
- We do not operate a bug bounty programme, but with your permission we will credit you once the issue is fixed.
Responsible disclosure
We follow coordinated disclosure. We will keep you updated while we investigate, and let you know when a fix is live. Reporters are credited unless they prefer to remain anonymous.
Account security
Sign-in is handled by Amazon Cognito. Access tokens are short-lived, and we never see or store your password in plain text.
Recording and data handling
Practice recordings stay on your device and are never uploaded to IMPRSV servers. Self-evaluations are stored server-side but contain only rubric ratings — no audio, video, or transcript content. We use HTTPS everywhere and our database is encrypted at rest.
Infrastructure
IMPRSV runs on AWS in the UK. Our infrastructure is defined as code and kept in version control, and services are granted only the permissions they need.
Operational safeguards
Code changes are tested and deployed through automated CI. Monitoring and alerting cover availability and error rates.
